Best new streaming TV shows this week
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Season One (Disney Plus)
If you are getting tired of watching movies and TV shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you might still want to catch this series on Disney Plus. One reason is that this is the first full-blown sitcom in the MCU, so expect things to get very silly and very meta. Another is the performance of Tatiana Maslany in the title role, as both She-Hulk and her human alter-ego Jennifer Walters.
When Walters gets in an auto accident with her cousin Bruce Banner (a.k.a. The Incredible Hulk), his gamma-irradiated blood mixes with hers and makes her able to turn into a 6-feet, 7-inch green-skinned powerhouse. However, Walters doesn’t want to be a superhero; she just wants to continue being a lawyer. That might not be possible as her law firm in Los Angeles wants her to take the lead on their new super-powered people division. And yes, she does break the fourth wall from time to time, talking directly to the view.

Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon Season One (HBO/HBO Max)

Set several hundred years before the main series, House of the Dragon will focus on House Targaryen, the ruling class of the continent of Westeros. The series, which was co-created by the man behind the entire Game of Thrones franchise, George R.R. Martin, will show how House Targaryen’s family members slowly entered into civil war. Expect lots of backstabbing and some big dragon action.
HBO Max is your home for Warner Bros-made movies and TV shows like The Lord of the Rings, the DC Comics superheroes, and more. It’s also the home for new and original movies and shows available nowhere else.

This dark secret quickly becomes even darker when one of the twins suddenly goes missing, and the remaining sister tries to find her. She soon discovers that there are even more secrets that she didn’t even know about.
